Open source library versions
The current version, every earlier version and what is coming next, for the libraries behind our tools. Install commands and download links come straight from the official sources.
How we track versions
Four places a new version shows up first
Before a version is released, it usually leaves a trail. For every library we look for that trail in order of certainty, and report exactly what we found.
- Published pre-releaseA version like 2.0.0-beta.1 or an npm tag such as next. You can install it today.
- Tagged on the repositoryThe maintainers have tagged or released it on its repository (GitHub or GitLab), but it is not on the package registry yet.
- PlannedAn open milestone that names the next version, with the issues that are done and still open.
- In developmentNew commits on the main branch since the last release. The weakest sign, but a real one.
Today we read npm, PyPI, GitHub and GitLab. More sources can be added without changing these pages.
